I've been attending an upholstery and furniture class on Thursday evenings as a possible new venture for Fantoosherie. We've so much gorgeous fabric saved up now that really beg to be used on bigger projects. So much I still need to learn I have a feeling this could take years to really get the hang of. Anyway here's some snaps of the progress of my very first chair. Newly webbed, hair stuffed and covered with the most gorgeous off cut of Aimee Kent fabric (a wonderful Glasgow based textile artist!) Still need to take one of those sexy after shots when it reaches it's new home but I'm still working on restoring the wood.
