Fantoosherie Knows Where Spring Is Hiding

If some of you are peering out your windows today and sighing over the gray, grim gloom outside do not fear because Fantoosherie knows where spring is hiding! - and it's only 18 sleeps away! Actually that is still a bit too far away for my liking!

I'm talking about the Made In The Shade Spring Time Jamboree!!!

Not only is the event taking place in the Lighthouse ("yes the Lighthouse is open for this event"!) but it will be packed with 30+ independent designers, makers and crafters and Fantoosherie is one of 'em!

The MITS girls are also organising cool activities for the day too like a retro photo booth, a packed vintage dressing room (guys and girls clothing) and collective bunting making! I'm really excited. And it's something warm and colourful to look forward to in all this gray gloomy rain!

They will also be giving away free goodie bags for the first 100 people to arrive and Fantoosherie will have some money off vouchers hiding in some of them. Over the next two weeks i'll be posting sneaky peeks at some of the new fabric accessories i'll be selling there. Hope to see you there - these events never disappoint.

Oh and Freeeeeeee Entry!

Fantoosherie Goes Screen Printing

Hello Fancy People! I've been dying to make some funky packaging for all the new Fantoosherie goodies and being a stationary obsessive it took me quite a while to make a definite decision! I wanted everything to reflect the fact that our jewellery is re-cycled and re-worked so I found a fantastic local supplier of 100% recycled boxes and thought I'd screen print all my labels and business cards on re-claimed tweed and denim.

All I had to do was convince the boys at Glasgow Badges to let me come up and screen print my fabric. They screen print t-shirts and merchandise for bands and clubs so my demands weren't what they were used to but they got well stuck in! They suggested I use a hot pink ink with a puff gel in it so the text is slightly raised off the fabric for maximum tactile appeal!

Ooo I love it, thanks boys you are talented! The new packaging will be available with Fantoosherie purchases from our etsy shop and all upcoming crafty events which I will be posting soon.

Until then stay fancy xxx
